Energetic, with dynamic lines and active accents, the interior was created by Anna and Stanislav Makeev for young spouses. Despite the fact that we had to work within strict limits, the result exceeded the expectations of customers.
Initially, the young spouses, the owners of the apartment, ordered the project to another designer and had already begun construction work when it turned out that the result did not meet their expectations at all. To remedy the situation, they turned to Anna and Stanislav Makeev. Since construction was already underway, part of the walls had been erected, some materials had been purchased, and we had to work quickly, while correcting mistakes.
So, first of all, we had to change the planning solution - the apartment has a panoramic window with a beautiful view. Therefore, it made sense to swap the living and dining areas, which was done. So the living room received more air and light, and the dining room, on the contrary, acquired a chamber and cozy character.
Changes awaited and the kitchen. Since it became part of the public area, it had to be integrated into the space, so the authors of the project chose a laconic composition that did not draw attention to themselves, and placed open shelves at the end of the peninsula. A well-thought-out solution made it possible to allocate space for a small work area.
The changes also affected the dressing room - a rather spacious space was divided into two parts, so two separate dressing rooms appeared: in the bedroom and in the hallway. The latter also housed a washer and dryer one above the other, covered by a mirrored sliding door. Since the hall in the apartment is very compact, the dressing room at the entrance was a brilliant solution that added comfort.
As for the furnishing of the project, the original Driade coffee tables and the chest of drawers with an active De Rosso print were the starting point. Gandia Blasco carpet became a stylish companion for tables . In order to perfectly fit the furniture into the layout and style of the interior, many items - a kitchen set, a console for the bedroom, furniture for bathrooms and dressing rooms - were made to order according to the project of Anna and Stanislav Makeev.
Finishing materials acquired budgetary, but high-quality. They fit perfectly into the modern interior, making it not only stylish, but also functional.
