Anna and Stanislav Makeev added a little more color, decor, interesting prints to the traditional attributes of the loft, while maintaining the freedom and democracy characteristic of this style. The result of their work was a cozy and functional space for a family with two sons.
The owners of the apartment, who turned to Anna and Stanislav Makeev, leaned towards the loft style in their preferences. However, they did not like the idea of a fully open kitchen. An additional difficulty was the load-bearing transom structure of the house, located inside the hall.
However, the authors of the project brilliantly solved these problems, making the disadvantages the pluses of the interior. So, the kitchen "left" in a niche between the pantry and the outer wall. So the room, on the one hand, is part of a common space, as required by the loft style, which avoids unnecessary partitions. On the other hand, it is quite isolated, and the adjacent pantry added functionality to it.
The public area turned out to be expressive. The living and dining rooms are arranged symmetrically, which brought calmness to the space, and juicy accents - red and blue colors - are responsible for the dynamism of the interior.
Another feature characteristic of the loft was embodied in the decoration of the walls: they were lined with white brick.
A spectacular detail of the interior was a painting that imitates paint worn from time to time. The same story was repeated in the kitchen area. “We often use monumental painting in our projects, but in this case, the repetition of one motif on different walls united the space and shaped the architecture, becoming a strong decorative element,” the authors of the project say.
The parents' bedroom is small in size, but thanks to an interesting combination of colors, it acquires its own character and style.
Another difficult task that the apartment has prepared for Anna and Stanislav Makeev is the creation of a children's territory. On the one hand, there was enough space for two rooms, but the location of the windows did not make it possible to make two isolated rooms. Therefore, the nursery was made one, dividing it into two symmetrical zones, marked with different colors. So the room has not lost airiness and freedom, and at the same time each of the boys has a personal space. The nursery is designed in a restrained way, but the energetic painting on the walls makes the interior positive and modern.
The authors of the project gave priority to natural materials, some of the furniture was made to order, which made it possible to fully realize the dream of customers about an original and practical interior.
