The lightness, elegance, cleanliness of the lines of this house in the style of modern classics are combined with amazing elements of artistic decor, which gives the project of Anna and Stanislav Makeev a special charm, individuality and extraordinary expressiveness.
Anna and Stanislav Makeev were approached by customers who bought a house near Minsk. They really liked the location of the house, the amazing nature, but the building itself did not at all meet their tastes and lifestyle. So, they saw their housing as free, where spaces flow into one another, while the purchased house offered them many isolated rooms. At the same time, the distance between the load-bearing walls was very small, and the layout was also distinguished by asymmetry, which was unacceptable in the classical style, which was the basis of the future project.
The Makeevs had to work hard to realize the wishes of their clients: to widen the passageways, strengthen them, build a composition so that the elongated layout would become a plus for functional zoning. Anna and Stanislav Makeevs found an interesting technique in order to neutralize the excessive massiveness of the reinforcing structures - they became a real artistic canvas, where murals and decorative details appeared.
The main decoration of the living room area was, of course, a fireplace. The massive chimney is decorated with antique panels from Ireland, which clearly show traces of time and even paint stains. An excellent ensemble of panels was made up of glass tiles made by hand - the authors of the project lined the floor in front of the fireplace with them. We add that the fireplace took first place in the open architectural competition "Fireplace Design-2019" (Moscow) in the nomination "Rustic Fireplace". Elegant furniture and a harmonious palette help to create a well-balanced, calm space, where the classic style sounds fresh and modern.
A small dining area attracts attention primarily with a luxurious chandelier, which, like a huge umbrella, protects everyone at the table from the hustle and bustle of modern life and gives special comfort on a quiet family evening. The decoration on the walls is designed to rhyme with the glass pendants.
For the kitchen area, a different print was chosen, reminiscent of decorative plates. He added lightness to a fairly strict space. For the kitchen, the authors of the project chose a composition consisting of tall cabinets in the background and an island in front of it. To keep the splendor of the open kitchen, a rough kitchen was placed nearby, where all the "dirty" processes take place.
A staircase leads to the second floor, climbing which you can admire the stained-glass window, an excellent pair of which is the pendants of colored glass lamps.
The second floor is a private area for parents and children. The bedrooms have a modern touch, but are complemented by details with a classic character. So, for example, a wonderful trellis, which became the highlight of the space, complemented the minimalistic customer room.
Bathrooms in the bedrooms are decorated in the same style with the rooms. A certain difficulty for Anna and Stanislav Makeev was the bathtub for the guest bathroom - it was previously purchased by the owners, and now it was required to fit it into the space. As a result, it was decided to create a kind of background for it from black tiles, against which the bathtub became the main character of the room.
