Anna and Stanislav Makeev managed to turn a standard project of a house with a not very convenient layout into a bright and light space with a peaceful view of the lake. And clean colors and laconic lines added freshness, modernity and functionality to the interior.
The house, which the Makeevs' customers bought, stood on the shore of the lake, and, naturally, the main wish of the customers was to preserve the view of the water surface. However, here was the main difficulty: the fact is that the standard layout was built exactly the opposite - all public areas and the bedroom had windows into the courtyard.
It made no sense to radically rebuild the house, so Anna and Stanislav Makeev began to look for an alternative solution in order to preserve the view of the lake from at least one room. And such an option was found: a terrace was designed in front of the house and an exit was made to it from the guest room, maximizing its window.
The color scheme of the project was based on light colors, underlined by juicy color accents - blue in the living area, grassy green in the dining room. This contrast looks very stylish and expressive, attracting attention.
The juxtaposition of opposite principles was also reflected in the furnishing of the project: for example, straight clear lines are combined with soft rounded shapes.
The kitchen turned out to be very modern and minimalistic: radiant white color, maximally closed kitchen set, laconic furniture... The choice of textures adds to the efficiency of the interior: glossy surfaces bring an interesting play of light into it.
The master bedroom is solved in a slightly different way: it is more restrained in terms of color content and elements of a classical orientation appear in it, giving a certain intimacy to a spacious and free room.
The swimming pool located in the basement also demanded a lot of attention. The room had a not very large area, about 60 squares, and a ceiling height of 2.7 m; Initially, it did not provide for the construction of a pool and allowed only a bowl of rather modest size. So that it does not look like a "puddle", Anna and Stanislav Makeev gave the pool an original shape, and to support it they designed a pointed ceiling that imitated the old oriental baths.
The painting of the artist Alexander Domanov in the hall and the pool added value to the interior.
Thus, despite the initial shortcomings of the layout, the professional skills of the authors of the project made it possible to obtain ideal results and bring to life all the wishes of the customers.
